Seller Terms & Conditions

Last updated 18 August 2026

1. Who these terms are for

These Seller Terms apply to any organisation or individual ("you", "the Seller") that creates events, lists tickets, or sells tickets through MNPR Tickets. By creating a seller account, or by accepting these terms when prompted, you agree to be bound by them.

MNPR Tickets is a trading name of MNPR Magazine Limited ("MNPR", "we", "us").

2. How MNPR Tickets works

MNPR acts as merchant of record for ticket sales made through the platform. This means:

  • Buyers pay MNPR directly for tickets, not you.
  • MNPR deducts its booking fee and, where applicable, the Grassroots Levy, before paying out the remaining face value to you.
  • Every fee is shown to the buyer before they pay — nothing is added at the final step of checkout that wasn't already shown.
  • Resale of tickets through MNPR is capped at face value. Reselling above face value, on or off the platform, is against the spirit of this platform and may result in suspension of your account.

3. Your responsibilities as a Seller

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of every event you list — date, time, venue, artist, and pricing.
  • Setting a venue capacity that reflects what the venue can genuinely and safely hold. You must not sell more tickets than the venue's real, licensed capacity.
  • The accuracy of any age restriction you set on an event. Enforcing an age restriction at the door is a matter for the venue and its security staff — it is your responsibility to agree this with them and ensure it actually happens, not MNPR's.
  • Confirming a venue's actual accessibility — step-free access, lift access, wheelchair spaces, accessible toilets, and any other accessibility features — before making accessible tickets available for an event, and ensuring what you list matches what the venue genuinely provides. MNPR is not responsible for inaccurate accessibility listings or claims you make about a venue.
  • Keeping your own account details, and those of anyone you invite to your team, accurate and up to date.
  • Complying with all applicable licensing, safety, and consumer protection law for any event you list.

4. Buyer data and your responsibilities

As the organiser of an event, MNPR Tickets gives you access to certain buyer details for your own event through your dashboard — name, email address, ticket type, and order date. This is provided so you can run your event properly: contacting attendees about changes, managing entry, and similar legitimate operational purposes.

Once you access this data, you become the data controller for it under UK GDPR, and you are solely responsible for complying with UK GDPR, PECR, and any other applicable data protection law in how you use it. This includes having a lawful basis for any use beyond running the specific event the data relates to, honouring any unsubscribe or data deletion request made to you directly, and never sending unsolicited marketing without proper consent.

You must not sell, rent, share, or otherwise pass this data to any third party. Doing so is a breach of these terms regardless of the third party's identity or purpose.

When you use data accessed through MNPR Tickets, you are acting as a representative of the platform your buyers trusted with their information. Misuse of this data — including spam, unsolicited marketing without a lawful basis, or any action that brings MNPR Tickets into disrepute — is a serious breach of these terms.

MNPR Tickets reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, without refund of any fees, if we reasonably believe this data has been misused. If a data protection breach involving buyer data accessed through your account is discovered or reported, you agree to cooperate fully with MNPR Tickets' investigation, and you remain answerable to MNPR Tickets and to the relevant regulator for that breach.

MNPR Tickets will never pass buyer data to any party other than the organiser of the event that buyer purchased a ticket for, and only through your own dashboard reporting.

5. Fees

Our current fee structure is available in your dashboard and is shown to buyers at checkout before they pay. We reserve the right to change our fee structure with notice to Sellers; changes will not apply retroactively to tickets already sold.

6. Payouts

Payouts are made via Stripe Connect to the bank account you provide during onboarding. Payouts are subject to a standard delay after an event, shown in your dashboard, to allow time for any refund requests. We may extend this delay for a specific event or organisation where we have a genuine concern about fraud or a high volume of disputes.

7. Refunds, voids, and cancellations

  • If you cancel an event, MNPR will refund every affected buyer in full, including all fees paid. As soon as a cancellation is confirmed, you must go into the event on the platform and cancel it there as soon as possible, so that automatic refunds go out to buyers in a timely manner. MNPR reserves the right to initiate the cancellation and refunds on your behalf if you fail to do so promptly.
  • You may refund or void individual tickets yourself from your dashboard, for your own events, subject to the conditions shown there (for example, a ticket that has already been scanned at the door cannot be refunded through this route).
  • Voiding a ticket does not refund the buyer. Use void only for tickets that should never have been valid in the first place — for example, a ticket that was resold off-platform in breach of these terms, or one you believe to be fraudulent.
  • Once your payout for an event has been sent, refunds for that event's tickets can no longer be issued through the platform and must be resolved directly between you and the buyer.

8. Resale

If you enable resale for your event, tickets may be resold through MNPR at face value only, subject to a resale fee shown to the buyer at the point of resale purchase. MNPR does not permit or facilitate resale above face value.

9. Account security

Seller accounts have access to real payment and payout information and are a higher-value target than a typical buyer account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. We strongly recommend enabling multi-factor authentication, and may require it for certain account actions.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account where we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or put buyers or the platform at risk. Where practical, we will tell you why and give you the chance to resolve the issue first.

11. Liability

Our liability to you. Except where the law does not allow us to limit or exclude it (for example, liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence), MNPR's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these terms, in any calendar year, is limited to the total fees MNPR has earned from your account in that year.

We are not liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, or loss of reputation, even if we were aware such loss was possible.

Your indemnity to us. You agree to indemnify MNPR against any claim, loss, fine, or expense arising from:

  • Your event exceeding a venue's real, licensed capacity.
  • An age restriction, accessibility claim, or other listing detail you set being inaccurate.
  • Your failure to hold any licence, permission, or insurance required for your event.
  • Your breach of these terms, or of any applicable law, in connection with an event you list.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Where a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify Sellers in advance.
